Silence can be distracting! Study with a friend. Ask teachers if you can sit at the front of the classroom to better participate in Q&A. Ask if you have permission to give an oral report or turn in a digital audio file rather than turning in written work. During homework, listen to music or set up in the kitchen while someone is prepping dinner (Except for when you really need to concentrate, then eliminated all auditory distractions).
